2023 Open Juried Exhibition, Vermont Center for Photography

This was an exciting and challenging jury process because of the overwhelming strength of the work. Common throughlines I noticed among the submissions were community and care, so I followed that impulse in my selections. The chosen artists exhibited distinct aesthetic personality and a developed sensitivity to connection with their subject matter. The exhibition featured works by Jamil Baldwin (Los Angeles, CA), Daniel Diasgranados (Washington D.C.), Steph Foster (Philadelphia, PA), Brandon Foushee (Brooklyn, NY), Jamie Ho (Lincoln, NE), Natasha Moustache (Chicago, IL), Chelsea Pineda (Sicklerville, NJ), and Glenn Sonnie Wooden (Chicago, IL)
